This comes as a board-book style book with the CD in a pocket in the back. Each number has an illustrated page that ties in with the song for adding that number.

A variety of musical styles keep the format lively–waltzes, country, and peppy are all catchy.

My kids request this over and over in the minivan and love to peruse the book as well. I recommend it!

This is a great book and CD set. My second graders love singing along, and requested this CD for our Valentine’s Day dance party. The book has beautiful illustrations, as well. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, catchy way to teach basic addition facts!

This great CD is a wonderfully fun way to experience a variety of musical styles with quite a bit of learning thrown in! It’s a great teaching tool and provides the perfect opportunity to introduce children to the magic of addition! My second graders enjoy this CD and request it frequently. In fact, when I give my students a choice of CD’s to listen to during their free choice time, “Listen in Addition” wins over the children’s votes and beats its competition every time.

I can’t help but dance whenever this CD is playing, and my students eagerly join in the fun. It’s extremely difficult to sit still and not sing along and I dare any child or adult to try it! It’s just impossible!

The creative lyrics, the variety of musical styles, Julie Scott’s terrific voice, and the voices of the children singing along, keeps a smile on my face throughout the entire CD. The more I listen to “Listen in Addition” (even without my students), the more I fall in love with it all over again!

I was given a copy of Listen in Addition and it has found a permanent spot in our car’s CD player. My kids love the great song-stories and don’t even know they are learning their math facts. And quite honestly, the music is so good that I find myself singing my favorites when I’m all alone!!!!
